Arkaan Leadership and Innovation Hub Explores Youth Empowerment Collaboration with USAID Somalia

The Arkaan Leadership and Innovation Hub team had the honor of engaging with key representatives from USAID Somalia , including Dr. Catie Lott, The Mission Director, and Barton Pogue, The Social Affairs Office Director, alongside Abdullahi Siyasi, the Managing Director, and Abdiwelli Ali Muse, the Corporate Relationship Manager of Arkaan.

The discussions centered on fostering collaborative efforts to advance impactful youth-focused initiatives in Somalia, particularly in the areas of:

 Access to Education

 Employment and Economic Development

 Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Arkaan remains committed to providing transformative solutions for Somali youth, leveraging platforms such as our Job Portal and E-learning Services, as well as facilitating access to funding and mentorship for young innovators. USAID expressed strong interest in our initiatives and shared a mutual commitment to driving sustainable development through youth empowerment.

We are optimistic about the potential outcomes of this collaboration and look forward to working closely with USAID to deliver meaningful change for Somali communities.
